About Glenda
I had dream premonitions when I was younger. I
thought it was strange. I couldn't understand why I
was dreaming of certain passings of relatives, and
then in time they came true.
Later I had an out of body experience. I was at a
passing of a very famous person. I finally told
someone who had a near death experience about what
had happened to me. He suggested that I go to the
library and find all the books on Edgar Cayce that I
could I went to the library and walked out with 12
books.
I had no clue of what I was looking for. I went
through all the books. I read about some of the stories
that I thought was simular to my experience. I still
did not find what I was looking for.
I don't recall ever mentioning this part, but I ran
across James Van Praagh's name and my thoughts at
that time were, "Well I can't even pronounce his
name so no wonder I have never heard of him."
Time went on, and I never forgot about the
experience, but I stopped being afraid of it and let it
go. Every now and then I would share my story with
others, but not very often.
I had become a member of Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. My
Brother calls me one day and said, "I have to go, John
Edward is coming on TV, and there is another one
who comes on named James Van Praagh."
I started watching the show "Crossing Over" with
John Edward, and "The Beyond Show" with James Van
Praagh. I had also bought James' book "Talking To
Heaven." I still wasn't sure what I thought about all of
this the Psychic Medium Awareness.
I get my "Venture Inward Magazine" (the newsetter
that comes from Edgar Cayce's A.R.E) one day. On
front of the newsletter there is this big picture of
James Van Praah. I couldn't believe what I was
seeing. I said "I have to see this man , and see if he
can do all the things he said he could."
At this time of my Journey I thought only James,
John , Edgar , and Sylvia Brown were the only ones
who could do this Maybe???? I was a skeptic. I went
to the James Van Praagh's seminar.
James was taking questions from the audience. James
called on me for a question I asked about the o.b.e. I
really don't know what he said. I had lost my focus.
James then put us in a meditation. During the
meditation my family loved ones from the other side
came through. My Father, Two Brothers, and my Baby
Sister ( who had been a miscarriage). I don't know
why or how I knew this was my Baby Sister , I just
did.
I have doubted many things along my Journey but
that is the one thing I never doubted in this
experience. I couldn't understand this but I knew it
was my baby sister.
I later described her to my Mom as looking just like
my one sister still here at that age. I said she was shy
and sort of peeked out from Daddy's legs, like hiding
behind him. I see it as I tell you this story.
That was on a Saturday that I had been at James Van
Praagh's seminar.I returned home the next day and
James movie "Talking To Heaven" his biography was
on TV.
I watched it with all my attention focused on the
movie. I still didn't know what to make of it. I had also
ordered a video from James called " Develope Your
Psychic Self."
I realized there was one woman at the seminar who
was trying to give me a reading, and it went right
over my head. It was during an exercise James had us
do. I started crying when I realized I could have had
a reading but did not understand at the time that is
what the lady was trying to do.
I then kept getting these thoughts , "you brought us
to you there , you can do that here." I then say out
loud, "how?" The video tape. in thought form I was
hearing "The Video." I then said, " No that does
not work, because I tried that.
I went and got the tape off the book shelf and put it
into the VCR. I did the exercise on the tape for Spirit
Connection just like James Van Praagh instructed you
to do.
I brought back my Loved Ones crossed over and
since that day Spirit has been talking to me ever since.
I have studied the Psychic Medium Awareness for
almost four years now.
A very Professional Medium from James Van Praagh's
resource page by the name of Chuck Bergman gave
me my very first Professional Medium Reading. In his
reading Chuck had told me that I would one day be
doing what he does. Although Chuck was very
accurate on his reading , I did not believe this for a
minute.
Later on in my Journey the Beautiful Shelley Duffy
also from James Van Praagh's resource page gave me
a reading. In her Reading to me she had said that I
had the ability to communicate with spirit also.
As I study and practice the Psychic Medium
Awareness I have returned the gift that they
had given to me. The validation of what
both Professional Mediums had said was by giving
both a phone reading.
The Journey has had its ups and downs. Even with
the ups and downs I still love connecting with spirit
and giving the gift to others of connecting to their
loved ones, as I was given.
The Psychic Medium Awareness to me is a forever
learning process. I hope to continue this learning and
sharing with others the beautiful connection. To see
the healing it brings is an experience all its own.
I am only a reiki one at the present , but later wish
to learn more on the Healing, Reiki and Absent
Healing. I do believe in the power of this type of
healing. Today I also believe in the power of Crystal
Healing.
